Andrei Covatariu is a 21 year old Romanian DJ. Encouraged by his family’s passion for music, Andrei started working at a local radio station, near his hometown, where he hosted a weekly clubbing show for 2 years.

To cut a long story short, Andrei hosts clubbing shows for three and a half years, now. Meanwhile, he is invited in lots of clubs in Bucharest and other cities in Romania. When he is on air, Covatariu invites clubbing icons into his studio, but also promotes young talents (DJs and producers).

One year and half ago Andrei joined Nights.ro, which is the most important on-line magazine about clubbing community in Romania. Here, he was responsible for: a weekly podcast (Techno Files), a weekly radio show which was broadcasted in over 30 local radio stations in Romania, interviews or party reviews.

Starting this October, Andrei joined the “Sapte Seri” magazine, which is one of the most important magazines in Romania, with more than 300.000 draft copies per week. Here is the chief editor for the clubbing section, and he is also in charge of the clubbing.sapteseri.ro site.

Recently he is taking the producer career more seriously. He is producing in his studio and also learns the secrets of mastering.
